Have you forgotten?

Music always filled our house when I was young. I can remember back when I was about 8 or 9, my Mom playing an old 45rpm record while she cleaned house and it was s-o-o-o-o beautiful to see! She'd really cut loose to the Rock And Roll Waltz by Kay Starr.

My Mother loved artists like Liberace, Eddie Arnold and Ernest Tubb. Classical and country were her favorites and she rarely strayed. . . however, with 4 boys all coming into their teenage years, rock'n roll permeated the house!

I think songs like Blue Suede Shoes by Carl Perkins broke the ice and opened a new doorway for my parents -- the doorway to Rock'n Roll!

I believe Kay Starr's Rock And Roll Waltz was written with my parents in mind! I can still see my Mom and Dad dancing when they thought no one was watching! Now, they both rock'n roll with the Lord! Rock On Mom and Dad! Memories Are Made Of This!
